Hermes is the messenger of the gods and the god of traders in Greek Mythology.
The first flight of Hermes
As soon as he was born, Hermes committed his first flight by stealing the sacred oxen of . But, Apollo, the god of arts was not long to know it. To get out of it, Hermes gave him an instrument he had just invented with a turtle shell, the lyre.
To thank him for this gift, Apollo offered him in return his golden caduceus, to which Hermes added two snakes face to face. Since then, this caduceus has become the symbol of trade and eloquence.
