Apollo is the god of beauty and arts in Greek Mythology, he is often equipped with his lyre, even if its inventor is Hermes.

Apollo and Coronis

Apollo learned from a raven that one of his mistresses, Coronis, had deceived him. To get revenge he pierced her with an arrow, dying she revealed that she was pregnant with the god.

Apollo succeeded in saving his child despite everything. He named him Asclepius and made him god of medicine so that he could watch over pregnant women.
